My Story, My Song

I had a friend who struggled last year with depression. She said that the nights were the worst. In the night when we lie awake, our fears and sadness can become  huge, looming over us like an irrational hole, one that we can’t find our way out of. But the Bible reminds us that “The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:23

He sees you in the night. He sees you when you are struggling with depression, sadness, grief, guilt, and fear. And He is ready to make you new, friend. 

Revelation 21:5 says, “He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’ Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'”

He said write it down, so I did.
