The Smithsonian Museum, facing strong opposition by African-American pastors, has placed a bust celebrating a genocidal hero of the left as a “Hero of Justice”. In an obvious effort to rewrite history, the Smithsonian has glossed-over the record of a monster. We need to revisit a dark time in American history for the reader to understand this column.
It’s baffling to imagine, in 2015, that well less than a century ago the Eugenics Movement was popular in the United States. For most readers, even the concept of eugenics is hard to fathom. For the uninitiated, eugenics is a blend Darwinist science and social engineering that called for the extermination of so-called “inferior” human beings by means of abortion, sterilization and even mass-murder.
