What’s in a Name?

I have heard that in the United States, over three-quarters of the population “claim” to be Christian. I decided to check online for some research and I picked out three sources out of more than I can count concerning the polling of people whole believe they are Christians.

From the early part of this new century until a poll in 2014, the number of people who claim a “religious” affiliation to Christianity has went from 83% to approximately 71% in 2014. It is true less and less people are claiming a “Christian” affiliation, but as you can see, the number is still close to three-quarters of the population.

Now, here is the thought I want you to consider; how many who claim to be or follow “Christianity,” think that the title of Christ is Jesus’ last name, or possibly even His first name? I’m not being silly or frivolous in…
