Blaming is almost as old as time. Eve blamed the serpent, Adam blamed Eve, and it has continued ever since. I’ve noticed that two get more blame or credit for things than they should – God and the devil.

People often blame God for telling them to do something. God does speak to people by His Holy Spirit and through Scripture, but He is not going to tell you to sin. The book of James says that God does not tempt us with evil. Be careful what you say God did.

I also find that the devil gets more credit than he should. People do stupid things which lead to stupid consequences, and then they say that they’re being attacked by the devil when they reap what they sow. Pardon my English, but that ain’t right!
