Spike–Daily Prompt

I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what to write for this daily prompt. The only thing that comes to my mind is the spike into each one of Jesus is limbs on the cross. I guess it is the Easter season that reminds me of His sacrifice.  What a horrible way to die! But oh what love!!
