YOM HASHOAH ~ A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE HOLOCAUST


My Heart is for Israel

Yom Hashoah was instituted in 1950 to commemorate the 6,000,000 Jews executed in the Holocaust.  I have included a service that I have used in the past to honor this day.  If you listen to the song and read the full service, you will neverbe the same.  The first part goes like this:

Leader:  Today we are observing Yom Hashoah, the Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust. This year, Yom Hashoah falls on Sunday, April 23rd.
