God warned Cain that ‘sin is crouching at the door, and its desire is for you,’ which appears to refer to a wild beast and its prey. (Gen. 4:7) If animals only age vegetation before the flood, why would that language be used?

The was not written to be a science textbook, a history book, a book on geography, yet it touches on these subjects in passing along the message that Jehovah God wants mankind to receive.
