Health Update

Hi everyone,

I had my surgeon’s appointment yesterday afternoon. It went well, the doctor informed my that intestinal reattachment surgery needs to be done.

The previous bouts of diverticulitis that I have suffered the past year has left a lot of damage that requires removal (this is not a surprise). What’s truly remarkable is the amount of improvement that I have experienced since August of this year, which I attribute to all the prayers through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to all those who have prayed (and continue to pray) thank you!!

The surgery is currently scheduled for 1/4/18, as a former medical biller and to all those who have gone thru the insurance hoops regarding the details of getting all the i’s dotted prior to surgery, there’s a lot of things I need to do within a 2 week period. Please pray for wisdom for all those making decisions during this process.

Since there’s a significant improvement with the intestines the expectation regarding the post surgery recoup time should be greatly reduced. I was originally advised the recoup time could be 6 months, now it’s most likely to be 4 weeks. Naturally, there can be unforseen complications which can alter this projected time frame. My re-blogging will be reduced during this time frame, including my own Greek postings thru Logos Bible Software.

Lastly, I do have a request, one of my neighbors (and her son) need prayer. They are also going through significant health challenges. Both are saved, please pray or “Maxie and her son”, her son is a local Preacher in my neighborhood.
