We all have good days and bad days and it’s no different for children. Seven year old Noah Orion from Carmel Valley is no stranger to bad days, having recently lost his Mom to cancer.

Noah’s Mom, Sandy, sadly passed away age 45 last September, after a five year cancer battle.

Before she passed away, Sandy endured gruelling chemotherapy treatment and during this time, Noah began to write a journal for good days and a journal for bad days, expressing his emotions through drawing.

Noah printed copies of his two journals and stapled them together to give out to his family and friends. He was surprised to find that people really enjoyed reading them.

Noah’s Dad, Harley realised that Noah’s idea could help people, so they launched a crowdfunding campaign to print the journal as a book and raise money for cancer research. Within days they had surpassed their goal.
