“Extreme desires about one thing blind the soul to others.”

αἱ περί τι σφοδραὶ ὀρέξεις τυφλοῦσιν εἰς τἆλλα τὴν ψυχήν.

“Just lust is longing for noble things without arrogance.”

δίκαιος ἔρως ἀνυβρίστως ἐφίεσθαι τῶν καλῶν
