In the days of Moses, Sin covered the hearts of men and prevented them from enjoying sweet fellowship with God. Even when God wanted to be in their midst, they withdrew and did not want to behold His glory, For they feared death which is the wage of sin.
The heart of men was so dark and hardened that they could not even perceive how much God longed to be with them in constant fellowship. But the God who’s mercies endures forever, and loving kindness fails not anticipated this very need of man and made provision for it by Way of Jesus.
