“As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10).
So as we think of being disciple makers and glory lights, this Galatians verse helps us to know who we should include…everyone. Afterall, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).”
The Galatians verse does say, “everyone,” doesn’t it? Most people who know me, know that I have a thing about definitions, so to be certain that I am not leading myself or others astray, I thought I would ask Merriam-Webster to define the word “everyone.” This is certainly because my observation of some “deep, holding firm” believers causes one to wonder if this word could truly mean what I think.
So here we go, Definition of everyone: every person :
