For today’s post we will tackle the question the Skeptic Annotated Bible asked: Was Ahaz buried with his fathers?
Here are the two answers which the skeptic believes indicate a Bible contradiction:
“So Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.” (2 Kings 16:20)
“So Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.” (2 Chronicles 28:27)
