OMG!!! I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this gem!
I barely noticed my co-workers looking my way as I literally LOL. Two individuals actually tapped my shoulder with big smiles on their faces ‘What are you listening to?’
I was too jolly to be bothered by their interruption as I removed my buds and exclaimed, ‘This book is hilarious!’
From the first paragraph I was probably smirking, as Author Terri Blackstock dives right into the story! I felt like I was inside this taxi during the chaotic Christmas rush.
For any fan of Blackstock this is not her typical kind of novel, yet she still demonstrates her creativity and senses of humor. The narrator does an amazing job of catching the emotions (and Christmas 😉), especially of the taxi driver Finn, who happens to be my favorite character 👐!
Half way though, my laughter started dying as Terri adds…
