Leviticus 19:11

15 “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

Leviticus 19 gives us many different laws that include thing such as: do not steal, do not lie, do not deceive, etc. These are things that still remain values and laws in some shape or form today. This verse was picked out by a friend of mine and I love what it is telling us. It’s a big time reminder that a lot of us need to keep on our heart daily.

If I could simplify this verse it would say this, “Don’t think less of poor people or more of great people, but love everyone consistently.” Obviously this isn’t exactly what it says, but it’s what I am seeing in the text.
