For today’s post we will tackle the question the Skeptic Annotated Bible asked: Where did John baptize?
Here are the two answers which the skeptic believes indicate a Bible contradiction:
In the Jordan River
“Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem was going out to him, and all Judea and all the district around the Jordan; 6 and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, as they confessed their sins.” (Matthew 3:4-6)
“In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.” (Mark 1:9)
