Most people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in “I hope something will happen.” I have been guilty of thinking that. It is common but not the truth of God.
This is not what the Bible means by hope. The biblical definition of hope is “confident expectation.”
Hope is up to me to be confident in my King Jesus. I must expect God to come through just like He has promised.
And in His name the Gentiles, all the nations of the world will hope with confidence. ~Isaiah about Jesus | Matthew 12:21
And … He will. Yes and Yes and some more Yes.
