Fresh Ground Theology

So, a buddy of mine pointed out some editing issues on my podcast. This episode is the same one as before, except it only has one introduction instead of three. ๐Ÿ™‚

For a more in depth look at what the prophets say about the Kingdom, we turn to the book of Micah. Micah the prophet lived in a time much worse than our own. During his life, the Assyrians lead by King Sennacherib invaded the Northern Kingdom razing it to the ground. Standing in the middle of the city with the stench of war all around, Micah declares that God was judging Israel for their sins. The book begins and ends with two court cases against Israel. When the verdict of destruction is reached, Micah breaks out in lament. Then, each of these laments is followed by a response, the first was a refusal to repent and the second wasโ€ฆ
