If “God is love,” well ok, then! But it must be a love we as human beings can barely comprehend. We have nothing in experience to compare it to. It must certainly be a deeper, wider, higher, sacrificial, stubborn, consistent, unconditional, unwavering, and committed love than anything we have experienced or known. We are not capable of understanding it by our own natural perception. There must be a place it is written down to guide us toward even the beginning of interpretation. If God is love, He would give us direction in understanding, not leave us to our own devices to stumble around trying to define it for ourselves, according to our earthly desires of what we want it to mean. And He did just that in His Word! -g.w
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world.
