To be exalted or honored, the believer has to first learn to be humble—serving people. If we come with a mindset to be above others, the Lord will put us to shame by humbling us in a humiliating way. Jesus is our example of what true humility looks like.
The King of kings and Lord of lords—Jesus Christ— came to provide for the people’s needs and heal their sicknesses. Jesus didn’t even have a home to stay in, but stayed wherever He was welcomed.
