Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall hear.
I am sure that we are all familiar with the miracles/teaching surrounding the restoration of sight to the blind.
Why the Quotes?
Well, during my absence I have been musing and comparing eyes and ears, both open and closed. This morning, Aussie time this image popped up.
Blind Bartimaeus. He knew Jesus approached, his sense of hearing would have been more acute. The one who would open the eyes of the blind was coming through. ‘Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.! ‘Announced Bartimaeus, knowing his soul doctor had come. Mark 10:47. But the blind beggar was silenced until Jesus summons him.
