We are always confident (2 Cor. 5:6)

Yes, a great reminder that thru Christ we are Sacred Space already but not yet in our Glorified bodies. This should/will provide confidence in our daily walk with the Lord. Great post…. Blessings!!

We are always confident.

Even though we know

That while we are at home

In the body,

We are away from the Lord.”

Θαρροῦντες οὖν πάντοτε καὶ εἰδότες ὅτι ἐνδημοῦντες ἐν τῷ σώματι ἐκδημοῦμεν ἀπὸ τοῦ Κυρίου·

Paul said that we are always confident (Θαρροῦντες οὖν πάντοτε).  Even though we know (καὶ εἰδότες) that while we are at home (ὅτι ἐνδημοῦντες) in the body (ἐν τῷ σώματι), we are away (ἐκδημοῦμεν) from the Lord (ἀπὸ τοῦ Κυρίου).  Only the Pauline letters used this word Θαρροῦντες, that means to be of good courage, courageous, confident, or of good cheer.  Only this Corinthian letter used this word ἐνδημοῦντες, that means to be in one’s own country, to be at home, or live in a place, and the word ἐκδημοῦμεν, that means away from home, or absent.  Paul said that they were very confident, even though they were at home…
