ORIGINAL ART BY PAUL T. BOECHER & POETRY BY KATHY BOECHER©
Long, cotton dress, brushing the tops of a cobblestone road,
A child at her side, collecting posies while roaming the edge of an ancient town,
A town built of mortar and stone, standing firmly for hundreds of years,
Sunlight casts shadowsand lighton this unfamiliar setting,
When we slow down and enjoy the bliss of God’s majestic creation,
It can transport us on the wings of eagles to a past that once was,
Reverie and nostalgia are lost arts consumed by the busyness of every day,
Sometimes you simply need to go back in time for a moment,
In order to enjoy today.
