What can Christians do amid persecution? Pray and encourage one another. In this blog series, I share warfare prayers and words of encouragement from the Book of Acts to win the battle against the enemies of the gospel.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. Acts 1:14 (KJV)

The early Church was a praying Church, and the apostles were people of prayer and unity. Unity made them pray and prayer unified them. We should pray daily for God’s people all over the world. Praying is an act of humility because we acknowledge God’s divine power and strategy. It shows we believe God is the ONLY one who can help us win the battles of life. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (KJV) says:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray…
