I love Thanksgiving.I think it may be my favorite holiday. It is nice that everybody stops to at least be a little bit thankful. It happens once a year, no matter what.
You don’t have to be “religious” to participate. Everybody can come together. Families can unite. It really is a good thing.
I’ve been thinking though about the challenge Jesus brings to me to participate in His world of Thanks-Living. Jesus lived the life of being thankful to his Father.
Consider this from the Apostle Paul:
Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to the Messiah Jesus to live.
