My Covid Christmas

So my Christmas was pretty awful. Prior to Christmas, my amazing sister in-law lost her battle with cancer. She was one of the most generous people I known. She’s a believer, so there’s comfort know she’s with our Lord Jesus Christ.

So, on December 22nd I started feeling ill. I’ve been completely vaxxed and also received a booster in November. With all of my health issues, I went to the hospital, explained my symptoms. Low and behold, I tested positive for covid.

They found enzymes related to a potential evidence of another heart attack. Thankfully I was below the threshold for being diagnosed with an actual heart attack. Another round of blood work was done and thank God no enzymes were detected.

Despite major depression and anxiety disorder and now dealing with covid, I’m in good spirits. So I got to spend Christmas at home in quarantine and will be ringing in the new year in quarantine.

Please pray for my brother Ross and his family, he’s heartbroken, as we all are. A few prayers for me will be appreciated. I’ll continue reading and re-blogging as much as possible.

It’s been a very difficult year, yet so much to be thankful for.

In His Service and thank you for all your support šŸ™šŸ»

  1. prayers for you and your family my dear GW—it’s been tough for so many of us on so many different levels…we had Covid last Thanksgiving so I was very reluctant about later getting the vaccines…but we did…all three…as did my cousins and they came down with Covid for Christmas…it’s the craziest thing.
Just know you and your family are in my prayers!!!

  2. I will pray for you and your family in this time of loss. COVID hit my Sunday school class, and we are not meeting again until 9 January, with the one couple spending their Christmas break with their two children in quarantine at home. My wife and I were about to go to TN to visit our son and he tested positive. His family of five are in quarantine for the Christmas break. If we had been there, we would probably have had to go to the hospital. We have almost self-quarantined, but my wife has dialysis three days each week. COVID for Christmas is not much fun, but even worse when you want to be with family during a loss. Many prayers, my brothers.
